Pet Policy

Talavera welcomes you and your dog! We hope your pup enjoys their stay as much as you do.

A special treat and pet bowls are provided in each suite.

Pet fee: $50 per night for up to two dogs (maximum of two pets per suite).

Pet Friendly Hikes

Araby Trail – E. Palm Canyon and South Ridge Road. Park in the dirt lot and walk up steep road to Palm Springs Trail, follow to Araby Trail. Moderate, 6 miles.

Desert Museum Trail (within walking distance of the hotel) – End of Tahquitz Canyon and the Desert Museum North parking lot. Easy, 2 miles.

Dog Park – Behind Palm Springs City Hall on Civic Drive – 1 ½ acres. Two night-lighted areas – one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Dogs can run free without leashes. Open until 10 pm.

Pet Etiquette

Please keep your dog on a leash while in shared spaces around the property.

No pets are permitted in the pools or hot tubs.

Never leave pets unattended in the suite or on the patio.

Be courteous to fellow guests by keeping noise to a minimum — especially when you’re away from your suite.

Clean up after your pet promptly; waste bags are provided for your convenience.

Towels provided in your suite are for human guests only — please bring a pet towel or blanket for your furry friend.
